In 2008, Danielle continued her education and attained her ASN through Excelsior College. Danielle passed her CPNE with no repeats at Gwinnett Medical Center in Atlanta in September 2009 and graduated October 16, 2009. She also plans to further her education with Excelsior College by obtaining her BSN. Danielle is currently employed at the North East Georgia Medical Center where she has been employed on the medical surgical/pediatric, neuro and ortho over flow unit for 5 years. She serves on her floors Unit Council that helps to create and approve nursing policies and procedures. She has also precept-ed many new graduate RN’s and re-entry nurses. Through this she discovered her love of teaching and sharing the knowledge that she has acquired over the years. Danielle takes pride in continuing education, understanding that the field of nursing is constantly evolving and has recently completed a course in PEARS (pediatric emergency assessment, response and stabilization). Danielle’s knowledge of the CPNE tied into the everyday working knowledge of being a nurse on the floor of a hospital and brings an immense knowledge and appreciation for “good nursing practice”. She will be your go-to person for both your skills and advice on writing strong care-plans. As a former student of Sheri’s, not only in the workshop but for all her Excelsior nursing concepts as well, Danielle has been handpicked from hundreds of previous students to help you pass the CPNE. Saying you will be in good hands with her would be a glaring understatement. Not only does she contribute her years of nursing experience to our workshop, she also has an unyielding drive to help other Excelsior students pass the CPNE. She’s been there, done that and has the degree to show for it… and now she’s giving back. |
